What is a Reagan Ranger®?

Reagan Ranger® provides advertising opportunities on a fleet of low-speed electric vehicles around downtown Austin. These vehicles provide a service known as Microtransit, an industry that is focused on solving the first and last mile problem for public transportation.

Reagan Ranger® offers a creative way to target Austin’s downtown audiences in areas where there are limited or no traditional outdoor available.

Locals also use the service and they are highly visible at beloved Austin events and festivities. For example, one of the year’s biggest attractions is Trail of Lights. This is an excellent opportunity to get ads seen by a few hundred thousand people!

They’re ideal for targeting tourists to special events in Austin like SXSW, ACL, F1 Downtown Austin activities, not to mention conventions and conferences.

Austin has an estimated

27.4 million visitors annually

How to Ride

Vehicles are typically staged in front of key hotels and around entertainment areas within the downtown district allowing pedestrians to request a ride directly with the driver. Vehicles can also be waived down along their dynamic routes. Rides usually cost $5 per person.

All vehicles tend to operate through all of the downtown districts each night and will follow pedestrian traffic patterns as they change (see map for basic service areas).

When vehicles are not in motion, they are staged near areas with large crowds to allow longer dwell time for ads.

The Basics

According to Geopath, vehicle wraps make

30,000 to 70,000 daily impressions.

Vehicles each have one driver and can seat up to

5 passengers.

Benefits

Unique

This eye-catching outdoor media format can help facilitate
“experiential advertising” allowing passengers and pedestrians
alike to interact and engage with them.

Mobile

The vehicles are constantly on the move and
gravitate toward areas with heavy pedestrian
traffic for high reach and frequency.

Sustainable

By utilizing street legal electric vehicles, they can help cities to
work toward their sustainability goals and reduce carbon
emissions at the same time.
